Vigil Enterprises, Inc., a client with the NMSBDC/PTAP in Santa Fe, was recently recognized for outstanding work by Bechtel’s government services business unit at the company’s annual Subcontractor and Supplier Recognition awards event. Denise Vigil, President, and Tom Roberts, Vice-President, were presented the award at a cermony held on May 5, 2014, in Reston, Virginia. The award honors subcontractors and suppliers who supported Bechtel’s government services business unit during 2013 in work such as environmental clean-up, national security science, construction, facility start-up and nuclear security and operations.
Vigil Enterprises was also selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the SBA Region VI Subcontractor of the Year. Ms. Vigil accepted that award at the Small Business Awards Luncheon on May 22, 2014, in Albuquerque, NM. Vigil Enterprises, Inc. is a small minority woman-owned business with New Mexico offices in Santa Fe and Albuquerque; they also have an office in Laguna Niguel, California.
